Printmaking Workshop: Hand-Carved Block Stamps (In Person)

Hand carved block stamps are a quick and easy relief printmaking process.

Course Description

Learn the basics of designing and carving a relief print. Carve personalized designs on SpeedyCarve, which is an easy material to cut and makes perfect stamps. Print the design on paper and/or fabric with a number of color options. There are infinite opportunities for designs with very little mess or stress! / Materials fee of $23 and facilities fee of $18 are included in course tuition. / Please review Printshop Facility Fees Supply List for more information.

Open to students ages 18 and above. Review complete policies, including class cancellation policies, before completing your registration.

Course meeting details

This workshop meets in person on MCAD's campus. Students do not have access to the Printshop outside of class hours.

  • notebook or sketchbook

The materials fee and facility fee for this class will cover the required supplies.

What to wear
Clothes appropriate for messy creativity. An apron may be useful. Closed-toe shoes are required. Long hair should be tied back.
