Course descriptionLearn about the cyanotype process, one of the earliest photographic techniques developed in the 1840s. Using sunlight and water, create vivid blue prints from objects, drawings, and transparent materials.Through hands-on experimentation, make photograms using natural and found objects, and incorporate sketches, writing, and simple transparencies. This class is ideal for teens interested in photography, printmaking, or experimental art. All standard safety protocols for handling photographic chemicals will be followed. / A materials fee of $14 is included in the course tuition.Open to students ages 15–18.
