Course descriptionWith a focus on poses, movements, and fabric rendering, learn to translate design ideas into dynamic sketches quickly and confidently. Build a strong foundation for communicating a fashion vision and develop a portfolio of expressive, lively sketches. This course is perfect for aspiring and experienced fashion designers, as well as anyone interested in learning how to render fashion and clothing in two dimensions. Throughout the class, the instructor demonstrates a range of drawing and sketching techniques to help students develop a personal style.Open to students ages 16 and above. Class meets on Fridays, 12:00-1:00 p.m. CT. Class meetings will include lecture, demonstrations, discussions, exercises, critiques, and time to ask questions and share resources.
