Course descriptionVisual effects, or VFX, are the art of digital illusion, allowing a creator to move beyond what’s physically in front of the camera. This course explores the foundational principles of VFX and how to put them into practice.Various topics will be explored, including filming green screen and chroma keying, rotoscoping, motion tracking, screen replacement, and compositing techniques. By the end of the class, learn the core skills and confidence to start creating unique and distinctive visual effects projects. / This computer-based class is held in an MCAD computer lab and students will have access to Adobe Creative Cloud software throughout the course.Open to students ages 16 and above.
