Open to students 16 and above. Course descriptionBegin with the fundamental methods of drypoint and line etching, with a focus on basic plate preparation, incising, and printing procedures. Building on these foundations, explore a variety of intriguing intaglio techniques to add tone, texture, and color, including aquatint and soft to granular techniques.Build a portfolio of hand pulled prints and the skills to express oneself fluently in this beautiful and exciting medium. Class activities include demos, discussion, and supervised work time.
