Spend time at different locales around Minneapolis to draw on-site in unique and inspiring locations. Course descriptionLearn how to capture space, depth, and vibrant energy in drawings. This class has a primary focus on drawing in color but other topics covered include perspective, organizational line, spatial relationships, and value. This class is ideal for anyone who recently moved to Minneapolis and wants to get to know the city or residents who are looking for a way to fall back in love with the city through the act of drawing in color. Locations include a variety of parks, buildings, and other facilities all located within the city of Minneapolis. The first class meets at MCAD and will explore the surrounding neighborhood. Additional locations will be announced at the first class session. / Class may be rescheduled or the locations may change in case of inclement weather (active rain, not the threat of rain, or damp ground). / Materials fee of $6 included in tuition.Please note that this course meets outside and may require climbing stairs, a hill or navigating uneven ground.
