Faculty member Stephen Rueff curated Monsters, Superheroes, and Villains: Our Culture at Play, exhibited at the St Louis Central Library.

Rueff is a co-founder of SuperMonster市City!, which celebrates and examines popular culture by developing traveling exhibitions. Rueff's latest exhibit is on display at the St. Louis Public Library Great Hall, in St. Louis, Missouri. This comprehensive exhibition features over 500 vintage toys, posters, advertising materials, television commercials, and movie trailers. The exhibition examines six decades of America’s cultural icons such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and many more through social and political lens.
