Grover Hogan ’21 and Sage Phillips ’22 are exhibiting new paintings and sculptures together for Good Kitty at AfterHours gallery in St. Paul. Good Kitty chews on actions of self-domestication, marking, and agency–exploring the terrors and rituals of intimacy.

About the artists

Grover Hogan (b. 1999) is an American interdisciplinary artist, educator, and oracle from Houston, TX, currently based in Minneapolis, MN. Grover’s work combines pedagogy, esoteric trial and error, and personal narrative to bridge the gap between the individual and our collective American Shadow Self. Sage Phillips (b. 2000) is an oil painter based in Minneapolis who AUUUUUGHHH!!! AHHHHHHH! AAAAAAAUUUUAUUAUUUUGHHHHH! OOOUUUAHHHHHHHHH! HAHHHH! AUUUUUUUUUGHHHHHH!!!!! Graduating from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2022, they AUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAA! AAAUGH! and have had their work exhibited at GGGGGRRRRRR!!! AAAAAHHHHUHHHH!!! GAH!
