Jeffery Legg Marks Homecoming, Art to be Shot to the Moon

Prolific painter Jeffery Legg returns to his hometown of Joplin, MO for his homecoming solo exhibit. Alchemy of Light and Shadow is on display at the Spiva Center of the Arts, where he first began his artistic journey.

Legg honed his craft and pursued his passion at MCAD, and the Atelier Lack Studio Program of Fine Arts. Since then he’s created a name for himself in the art world, one of his paintings being purchased by Astronaut Neil Armstrong, and his still life The Catch, is included in the Lunar Codex, a digital time capsule that will be launched to the moon on NASA’s Polaris Mission.
