Current student, Talia Moreno, recently threw an end of the summer art show with an artist she’s been mentoring through painting and design. The Big Deal Art Show celebrated young women in graffiti by carving a space for themselves in a scene that has traditionally excluded them.

As Moreno explains “ We are calling it The Big Deal Art Show because we are the ones who make ourselves a big deal.” The show on August 22 also included live music by Life Fan Forever and Super Duper Gross, as well a Phaser Magazine Release.
