Describe the work you submitted for merits.

I submitted some of my favorite projects from classes over the years, part of a 48 hour film I did with some people, and a work in progress cut of the short I'm making right now.

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

MCAD had a lot of different classes so I could branch out and try new things on the side, and it was close by.

What are your plans for your senior year? And beyond?

I plan to buckle down and work a lot on my senior film, make as many new friends as I can, and apply to LOTS of jobs. I'm excited to find out what I'll be doing once I graduate; see who I can learn from.

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

The freedom! I love living on my own, finding out what I like, meeting people, learning things, all that.

What inspires you?

I love traditional traditional animation, film, other people's art, and the people around me.

Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it!

I'm really excited about the short I'm working on. I've been animating 24/7 all semester, and I'm almost done with it. I think it's turning out really well. Still a big fan of my VFX final, and I think my work from character animation 2 turned out well.

Anything you're obsessed with at the moment?

Puparia by Shingo Tamagawa. It's one of my favorite shorts. Everybody should watch it. I really aspire to be able to emulate that level of quality in my work.

What's your favorite color?

My favorite color is a dark blue-green :)
