Describe the work you submitted for merits.

At Least I'm Pretty is a multimedia video installation where I explored video projections of a performance, projection mapping, and sound installation.

Fuk u is a stop motion animation using multiple layering techniques to create a looping video focusing on sexuality.

Phollie Pocket is an exploratory website inspired by the early days of the internet, creating my y2k dream world.

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

As a transfer student, I decided to move to MCAD because I wanted to surround myself with more creative people and diversity.

What's next for your practice? Anything you're really excited to make?

Right now I am exploring how self perception can be affected by social media and how interfaces can enhance those feelings of self doubt. I am working on a website that takes all of these interface design choices and elevates them to create an uncomfortable environment—for example, a page that is overwhelmed with notification buttons.

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

The accessibility to work with people in all disciplines.

What inspires you?

I am constantly inspired by poetry and the abstraction of thought that comes with it. Also, other people's stories!

Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it!

Every new project that I am a part of ends up becoming my favorite. I tend to tie my work into my current obsessions and thoughts.

Anything you're obsessed with at the moment?

I have been obsessed with the podcast Your Undivided Attention which is a podcast from the Center for Humane Technology that talks about the power that technology has on our lives.
