Faculty Title Instructor Education BA, Augustana University MA, University of Sioux Falls Current Career Artist, Photographer, and Educator Sarah Winterscheidt is a passionate art educator with 30 years of classroom experience dedicated to rigor, relevance, and inspiration. Winterscheidt's expertise in film and digital photography includes teaching at her alma mater Augustana College and ten years mentoring students to compete at regional and international Scholastic Art Competitions, AP 2D Design portfolios, and a student of hers receiving a perfect AP score in 2021. Since 2010, she has continued to explore new artistic endeavors each summer at MCAD and has served as the educator ambassador for the Art Educators Workshops. At home, Winterscheidt injects her flair into fashion, home décor and estate sale finds, in addition to serving as an artistic consultant to her family and close friends.
