He is the Artistic Director of Minneapolis' Walking Shadow Theatre Company, where he has directed or written numerous productions. His original plays and adaptations have been published by Concord Theatricals and produced all over the world. Over the past several years he has been performing the Epic Solo work of Charlie Bethel around the United States. In addition to his stage work, he has been making short films for the past decade, and is the lead singer of the steampunk band Bad September.
