Faculty Title Instructor Degree Catherine Collins started Moxie to further ideas that matter. Moxie works with teams to go beyond empathizing to designing together. They do this by including people who have experienced the challenge in the design and decision making. Previous collaborations range from understanding the experience employees at a national football stadium have with housing insecurity to re-imaging benefits with early childhood educators in Vermont, to improving job placement programs with recently arrived migrants in the Swedish tech sector. The Moxie team consults, coaches and trains organizations on how to integrate inclusive design practices into their projects and culture. Collins has led workshops at the Royal College of Art in London, Middlebury College, Aalto University in Finland and internally for established and emerging organizations.
