Chris Hajny is a senior designer at Target, responsible for creating hundreds of products for holidays throughout the year at a mass market scale. Hajny has spent over 15 years in the product design industry, including 10 years as a freelance designer, and has created work for a wide range of clients in the home, stationery, and gift markets, including retailers such as Target, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, Tazo Tea, Kohl's, J. C. Penney, and Walmart.

Additionally, Hajny is a co-founder of Light Grey Art Lab, a gallery and collaborative arts space in Minneapolis that is focused on bringing together creatives from around the world to exhibit work, share process, collaborate, and learn. As a producer and project lead, Hajny oversees the execution of large scale creative projects such as Dream Arcade, in which he acted as lead designer and was responsible for the creation and release an action videogame to worldwide markets. Hajny is also producer of the Light Grey Art Lab Podcast, a weekly program featuring artist interviews, lectures, and discussions about art and culture. Light Grey Art Lab has been featured on CNN.com, Kotaku.com, DesignWorkLife.com, Forbes.com, and in Official Nintendo Magazine.

Hajny graduated from MCAD with a BFA in illustration in 2004.
