Alonzo Pantoja is a queer, brown artist and educator. During his undergraduate studies, they did international coursework in contemporary art, architecture, and design in Almere, Netherlands; painting and drawing and art history at Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy.

He has participated in both solo and group shows in spaces such as Nefarious Contemporary in Baltimore, Happy Gallery, Fluffy Crimes in Chicago, Var Gallery, Yours Truly in Milwaukee, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Nemeth Art Center, Textile Center, Circa Gallery, Normal Residential Purposes in Minneapolis; internationally in Italy and England. They have been featured in Hyperallergic, VASiSTAS Magazine, and Design & Living Magazine. He was awarded a fully-funded residency to Ox-Bow School of Art, a partially funded fellowship to Arrowmont School of Arts and nominated for the Dedalus Foundation MFA Fellowship in Painting and Sculpture.
