Alison has worked with a wide range of clients, from individual artists with small projects to retail stores launching national ad campaigns. She has worked as an in-house designer at Smitten Kitten and Family Tree Clinic. Alison has received awards from the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles and 3x3 Magazine and has been featured in 3x3 Magazine's New Talent Gallery. Her academic interest is in teaching students to use thoughtful research, in-person observation, and lived experiences to move the field of illustration towards more accurate, equitable symbol use.
