Staybatical: Reflections on Grounding and Discursive Practice

The “staybatical” experience was frustrating and enriching. It entailed a marked departure from my proposed travel plans but opened doors to research and collaboration made possible by the focused work time enforced grounding in the pandemic necessitated. In my talk I will reflect on these twists, turns, and recuperations leading to where I see my research and practice heading now.
