Teaching Artist Practicum Biography

Thao Doan is a sophomore studying towards a BFA in Animation and a minor in Teaching Artist at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She has five years of experience in animation. Her works have been exhibited at the Mall of America and the Science Museum of Minnesota.

Her specialties are in motion graphics and 3D animation where she can bring her visions to life in ways traditional mediums can’t. As a teaching artist, she aspires to teach budding artists the various tools and techniques to find their unique voices through animation.
