I’ve done editorial and institutional illustration, worked as a courtroom artist for CBS and CNN, and worked with musicians on album and poster art.

How did you get your job?

I got my start as a courtroom artist during my senior year at MCAD through our fantastic student employment person, Cheryl Kartes. She was wonderful, I will always be grateful.

Where are you originally from and how did you hear about MCAD?

Baltimore and visited several of what was then the Union of Independent Colleges of Art (not sure this still exists).

What was your major and how did you choose it?

Illustration, just loved it

Who was your favorite faculty member and why?

My drawing teacher Paul Olsen

Yes, because I got quite a bit of work through Cheryl during my senior year

Your biggest takeaway from MCAD?

Lucky to be an artist always
