Course descriptionLearn color-mixing and other techniques to explore subtle differences in the landscape, use value and contrast to show distance, and utilize design principles to create interesting compositions. Class will meet in the painting studio and outdoors (weather permitting) on MCAD's campus. Learn about landscape artists and see examples of the concepts in practice with a visit to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. / Material fee of $5 included in course tuition.
