Course descriptionLearn how to seamlessly weave floral elements, leafy accents, fantastic flourishes and organic textures into letterforms. Whether the aim is elegant, whimsical, or a bold botanical style, discover techniques to make lettering designs bloom! In addition to Illustrator demonstrations, use hands-on class time to work on a decorated word, phrase, or letter in Adobe Illustrator. Class content explores various ways to adapt botanical elements to match various typography styles and reflect students' unique artistic voice. / Students will have access to Adobe Creative Cloud software throughout the course.Open to students ages 16 and above. Students will meet together online on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m-8:00 p.m. CDT using Google Meet for lectures, demonstrations, class discussions, exercises, time to ask questions, share resources, and work time.
