TEACHING PHILOSOPHY & MENTORSHIP

I am friendly, encouraging, supportive and knowledgeable. I have over 19 years of teaching experience. I have taught kindergarten, grammar school, middle school, high school, college, adult continuing ed, and senior citizens. I have worked with 1,000’s of Artists. My Philosophy is to find out where the student is coming from what their goals are and what they need from me to support them. I think of it as a collaborative endeavor. I love all different kinds of Art. It is easy for me to find things to be excited about in other people’s art and to genuinely celebrate my students’ work; but I am also dedicated to pushing my students to be the best Artists they can be. For this mentor program I would fit well with any Artists interested in #humor in Art, #Watercolor, #performance
