The Secrets of Watercolor for Beginners (in person)

Learn the fundamentals of how to control watercolor through a step-by-process, building from simple to complex. Ages 16+

For centuries artists have demonstrated that water techniques give students a deeper understanding when working with oil or acrylic paints. Learn the essential skills needed to gain a full understanding of watercolor painting including; color theory, brushwork, how to transfer an image for painting, and how to tame the capricious liquid paint. Throughout the class, the focus is on gaining experience and using mistakes as the basis of success. Class time is spent on demonstrations, lecture, studio time, and critique. / Materials fee of $33 included in tuition.

Open to students ages 16 and above. Review complete policies, including class cancellation policies before completing your registration.

Students should expect to spend approximately $150 on supplies in addition to tuition.

Clothes appropriate for messy creativity.

Class Savings
