BIDDING STRATEGYHOW TO BIDTo bid and participate online, start by creating an account through our mobile bidding platform. After signing up, enter your mobile number to receive a text message allowing you to bid through your mobile device. You can either place the minimum bid amount required or set a maximum bid. Once your bid has been placed, you will immediately be notified if you are the winning bidder, or another guest has outbid you.BIDDING STRATEGYYou may bid the traditional way by increasing the bid by the minimum raise or setting a maximum bid. When you place a maximum bid, the system bids for you against other bidders until your maximum bid is reached. Once your maximum bid has been exceeded, you are no longer bidding on that item until you place a new bid. This is ideal for guests who would like to place a single bid on an item and not worry about checking back to see if they are still winning.POST-EVENT & WINNING BIDSAny winning bids will be available for check-out on your devices. For winning Silent Auction bids, an MCAD representative will contact you on Monday, June 2, to make arrangements for your preference of MCAD pick-up or $50 local delivery. If you would like to make alternative arrangements, please email events@mcad.edu.
