Course descriptionThe Teen Maker Series offers single-session, three-hour workshops for teens ages 12–18, held one Friday evening each month.Each session introduces a new art-making skill, giving students the opportunity to learn foundational techniques while experimenting, collaborating, and connecting with other young artists. Guided by professional instructors and supported with high-quality materials, these workshops offer a fun, accessible way to explore creativity, build confidence, and try something new.In this session, use iPads and video editing software to create short animated films while exploring frame-by-frame animation techniques. Explore the history of animation, drawing inspiration from filmmaking and animation icons like Hayao Miyazaki, Lottie Reiniger, Tex Avery, Matt Groening, Tim Burton, and more.Open to students ages 12–18.
