Mihrabs: Portraits of Arab American Women to Exhibit at Mia

Hend Al-Mansour ’02 will be displaying her exhibition Mihrabs: Portraits of Arab American Women at the Minneapolis Institute of Art from July 19 through October 26, 2025. As part of the Minnesota Artists Exhibition Program, the exhibit features architectural portraits of Arab women in Minnesota and debuts a new animation.

Hend Al-Mansour’s work reflects her experiences as a Saudi American artist. She seeks to portray not only her story, but the history and lived experiences of other modern-day Muslim women.
