Describe the work you submitted for merits.

Street photography, candid portraits, and personal photographs of my hometown and family.

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

Someone told me a few years ago that the Photography program at MCAD was very good, which it is.

What's next for your practice? Anything you're really excited to make?

As every day, I am excited to get out there in the world to take pictures.

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

The amazing teachers, and great classmates. As well as the chicken tenders and mac and cheese, very delicious, every time.

What inspires you? 

Photobooks, people, and the everyday beauty of life.

Do you have a favorite piece you've made?

No one favorite, all my pictures are my favorite.

Anything you're obsessed with at the moment? 

My lovely cat, Plato.
