Course descriptionBecome familiar with screenprinting, monoprinting, relief printing, and intaglio techniques and gain the skills needed to work safely and successfully in MCAD’s printshop. Learn basic color theory, color mixing, composition and printing methods. Class activities include demos, discussion, and supervised work time. This course sets beginner students and artists up to take more advanced printmaking courses MCAD offers. / Students have access to Adobe Creative Cloud software throughout the course. / Please review the Printshop Facility Fees Supply List for more information. / A materials fee of $49 and a facilities fee of $152 is included in the course tuition.Open to students ages 16 and above. This class has limited access to the Printshop. Students do not have access to the Printshop outside of class hours.
