Describe the work you submitted for merits.

To me, it felt experimental; they were all the result of work from previous class projects. And with each piece I was trying something new.

What's next for your practice? Anything you're really excited to make?

I really want to make a couch before I graduate! Also, I am very excited to try steam bending wood for one of my finals.

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

I was encouraged to apply after running into my high school art teacher at a wedding.

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

Being able to explore so many different mediums in art.

What's the best thing you've got from MCAD's free shelf?

A bunch of new pencils!

Anything you're obsessed with at the moment?

I've been obsessed with velvet lately.

Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it!

Currently my favorite piece is a chair/stool that I made from laminated plywood.
