Two emerging artists from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design are among the nineteen creatives featured in LASAA 2025 (Live Action Silent Art Auction).

Francesca Miguieles ’20 and current student Jayden Spann will have their artwork auctioned at LASAA, a reimagined silent auction hosted by Studio 42 Minneapolis to benefit Read With Me MN, a nonprofit supporting literacy and diverse children's literature in the Twin Cities.

Miguieles, a Chilean mixed media artist, says her work draws on her identity as a queer Latina immigrant and explores themes of displacement and self-acceptance. Spann, a current Fine Arts major, creates narrative-driven, surreal portraits and sees storytelling as central to her art practice.
