Sarah Nicole Knutson ’18 and Jonathon Rosemond ’18 led a free experimental workshop at the Walker. Inspired by the museum’s recent exhibit Suzzanne Jackson: What is Love, Knutson and Rosemond created activities that highlighted Jackson’s unique form of collage painting.

The two part workshop focuses on different techniques, one combining layers of vellum acrylic paint, and other translucent materials to create suspended paintings, and the other painting small heavyweight cotton rag paper and using personal symbols to explore memory and self expression through artistic representation.
