Lindsay Nohl Designs Jersey for Minnesota Aurora FC

Lindsay Nohl ’03 collaborated with the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) and Minnesota Aurora FC to design the club’s 2026 jersey. The partnership between Mia and Aurora began as a potential sponsorship discussion but evolved into a broader creative collaboration centered on art, sport, and community.

The design, aptly titled Flora, draws inspiration from Minnesota’s natural environment, including depictions of native wild flowers and wild rice underneath a starry night sky. Nohl was commissioned by Head of Design and Editorial at Mia, Bobby Rogers ’14. When Rodgers received the proposal he reached out to Nohl, a former professor from his time at MCAD, known for her botanical illustrations and tattoos.

Merchandise with the design are available on Aurora’s website, and 15% of the proceeds from this collections will be donated to the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota.
