"LIFT OFF!" in Brackett Field Park

Jack Becker ’76 is organizing LIFT OFF! Rocket Lighting Event on Saturday, September 12 in Minneapolis' Brackett Field Park. Alongside the eventual ‘rocket launch’, the event features live music, shadow puppets, as well as other craft and artistic activities.

The free event celebrates the park’s landmark rocket ship that has been a staple feature since its installation as a jungle gym in 1962. The event is hosted in partnership with 36th ART, the Midtown Greenway Coalition, and The Greenway Glow Bike Ride and Arts Festival.
