Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

MCAD was the right choice for me to learn many different skills while still having the room to explore what I am compelled to create.

Describe the work you submitted for merits.

I submitted six pieces that show a progression into the deconstruction and exploration of dolls and figural sculptures. Each piece manipulates a different element: form, narrative, materiality, site, scale, or interactivity.

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

Becoming a part of a community of creative people!

What inspires your creative self?

I'm inspired by practical effects and puppets, antique furniture, and vampire movies.

What are your plans for your senior year? And beyond?

I'll continue to work on larger-scale pieces and installations!
