Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

I wanted to be apart of a collaborative close knit artistic community.

How/why did you choose your area of study?

I love using tolls and being apart of each part of the process, from raw materials to final product.

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

I love living in close proximity to other creatives.

Describe the work you submitted for merits.

I submitted a combination of prints and books exploring my identity through mixed media adding context and meaning to the everyday objects in my life.

What's next for your practice? Anything you're really excited to make?

I am excited to continue to explore the possibilities of print and develop my creative voice and across mediums.

What inspires your creative self?

Seeing others connect through art drives me to continue creating and exploring.

What's the best thing you've found on the Free Shelf?

Some casting wax, its saved me around $100 and has been super fun to experiment with.
