Image Faculty Alumni ’23 Title Adjunct Faculty Education MFA, Minneapolis College of Art and Design BA, St. Olaf College Amanda Rose is a visual artist from St. Paul, Minnesota. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2023. She also attended St. Olaf College and graduated in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and Art History. Her work focuses on themes of gender, identity, and the environment. Through her creative practice, she shares the voices of people from underrepresented backgrounds and narrates her own experiences as a multicultural woman. Portraiture is an important part of her practice, and she uses portraits to capture the unique identities of her subjects. Her primary mediums include drawing, painting, and digital illustration.
