What to Bring

What to bring: This is an educational event—no admissions decisions or scholarship awards will be offered. Portfolios should include 12-20 pieces of a student’s best and most recent work, but can also include works in progress, sketchbooks, and tear sheets—it is not necessary to mat or framed work. Students should bring original artwork whenever possible, and keep their presentation simple, as the work itself is what is important.

Important Information for National Portfolio Day Guests

This event will be held in the MCAD Main Building. Guest check-in begins at 9:30 am for Morning at MCAD events, and noon for portfolio day. Check-in will be held outside, in the big white tent on the south end of the MCAD lawn. Portfolio reviews will begin at 1:00 p.m. sharp and end promptly at 5:00 p.m.; please contact admissions@mcad.edu for more information.

MCAD Portfolio Day Guest Requirements

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. If you are part of an immunocompromised high-risk group, would like to schedule a virtual visit, or have additional questions, please contact us at admissions@mcad.edu.
