What to Bring

What to bring: This is an educational event—no admissions decisions or scholarship awards will be offered. Portfolios should include 12-20 pieces of a student’s best and most recent work, but can also include works in progress, sketchbooks, and tear sheets—it is not necessary to mat or framed work. Students should bring original artwork whenever possible, and keep their presentation simple, as the work itself is what is important.

Important Information for National Portfolio Day Guests

This event will be held in the MCAD Main Building. Guest check-in begins at noon. Check-in will be held outside, in the big white tent on the south end of the MCAD lawn. Please dress in layers! Guests will not be allowed into the MCAD buildings until the event begins. Portfolio reviews will begin at 1:00 p.m. sharp and end promptly at 5:00 p.m.; please contact for more information.
