“A Wake in the Current” at Viewpoint Gallery

Visual artist and designer, Jon Reischl, is collaborating with Minneapolis-based writer, Kyle Feldman, to exhibit A Wake in the Current at Viewpoint Gallery, founded by Suyao Tian ‘17, MFA.

Reischl works mostly in oil paint and mixed media, and Feldman works by writing in “drips and drizzles” to collage them later. Featuring over forty poems and paintings, Reischl and Feldman’s collaboration illustrates their shared uncertainties and anxieties about pandemic isolation and its lasting effects. A Wake in the Current functions to represent the ambiguity between past and present in the context of the pandemic.
