Describe the work you submitted for merits.

This work was inspired by the sight of a plastic bag tangled in a tree, fluttering in the wind. It draws on the beauty and emotion of this scene to mirror aspects of human existence, pointing to our fragility, strength, and fleeting nature.

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

The interdisciplinary program enables me to experiment with various media, enriching my artistic practice by allowing me to explore diverse forms of expression.

What's next for your practice? Anything you're really excited to make?

I haven't decided on a specific object to focus on yet, as spontaneity plays a crucial role in both my work and personal life. It could very well be the next thing I encounter on the street that inspires my next piece.
