Students in this class will have fun creating their own soda pop, while exploring graphic design, typography, printmaking, packaging, and advertising. Throughout the week, the class will brew different soda pop flavors and then develop the brand look and feel using graphic design elements. Students will invent names for the various flavors, design logos, construct creative packaging and learn how to promote with an advertising plan to sell the fizzy beverages. At the end of the week, family and friends will be invited to a Friday soda pop party! / Materials fee of $50 in addition to course tuition. / Open to students ages 12–15. What to wear: Clothes appropriate for messy creativity
