Introduction to Adobe After Effects

This course is a beginner’s guide to Adobe After Effects. Motion graphics is a storytelling platform, a problem-solving tool, as well as a playful medium meant to reach a target audience. Motion design is one of the fastest growing fields under the graphic design umbrella and is a successful, cost-effective, and popular communication tool that will enhance any designer's skill set. Using graphic form, typography, image, video, and audio students will explore how to effectively communicate through design in time and sequence. / Each student will have access throughout the class to a lab workstation equipped with the latest software. / Open to students ages 16 and above. / View complete policies.

Prerequisites: Working knowledge of Mac OS X; Previous experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

What to Bring: Pen or pencil; notebook or sketchbook; USB drive or cloud storage option for saving work.

If the minimum enrollment is not met by the deadline above, the class will be canceled on this date. Registration will remain open after this date if the minimum enrollment has been met.
