More than 1,000 donors supported MCAD's Annual Fund in 2008-09 with more than $1 million in gifts. These donors--individuals, corporations and foundations--play an important role in the College's success. Their support helps MCAD students become leaders and prominent contributors in advertising, graphic design, film, photography, print/paper/book, fine art, and many other visual professions locally, nationally, and internationally.
More than 75 named scholarships--established with a gift of $25,000 or more--provide critical financial assistance to more than 100 students, many of whom would not be able to attend MCAD without this support.
In addition to being one of the nation's leading art and design colleges, MCAD is a vital community resource for the visual arts. Our exhibitions and lectures, Continuing Studies and Summer Youth programs, and annual MCAD Art Sale engage thousands of Twin Cities residents each year.
