Financial Aid Deadlines

Fall Deadlines

March 15
Be sure to complete your 2010-2011 FAFSA by March 15!

Please keep in mind:

• Your 2010-2011 FAFSA should be filed no later than March 15, 2010. Students who file after this deadline will see a significant reduction in available funding for federal, state, and institutional aid.
• MCAD's school code is 002365.
• Do not wait until your 2009 taxes have been prepared if this means missing the March 15 deadline. Instead, you may use estimated tax information which can be corrected later.
• You will need a PIN to electronically sign your FAFSA. If you are a dependent student, your parent will also need to sign using a separate PIN. Full instructions and help are available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
• With your PIN, you can return to the same site later on to check on the status of your application, review results of your processed FAFSA and submit corrections.

All requested Verification documents and forms must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by this date. If you are completing an extension, a copy of the extension form along with a completed Verification Worksheet must be submitted by this date.

May 1
$150 tuition deposit due*

July 1
Response Forms Due and Loan Application Deadline: All loans must be approved by this date for Fall semester. Tax forms needed for families who filed an extension. If we do not receive extensions by this date, funds may not be available.

Spring Deadlines

October 1
FAFSA Application Priority Deadline*

Students enrolling for spring semester may complete the FAFSA prior to admission. Financial Aid award letters will be mailed to admitted students upon completion and receipt of the FAFSA by the Financial Aid Office.

November 1

December 1
