MCAD Annual Art Sale

 

 
 

Eye-catching, one-of-a-kind art created by MCAD students and recent graduates at unbeatable prices. More than 5,000 pieces will be sold. More than 7,000 pieces will be hung. 11 hours only. Every piece less than $1000. Average price less than $100.

Now in its 13th year, the MCAD Art Sale is a Minnesota tradition that has generated more than $1,000,000 for emerging artists. In addition to getting the profits from the sale of their work, the sale helps students and young alumni develop essential fine arts professional practice skills like pricing work and talking with collectors.

Weekend before Thanksgiving
The 2010 dates for the Art Sale are Friday, Nov. 19, 7-10 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 20, 9-5. Mark your calendar for the weekend before Thanksgiving. Friday night tickets are required (price TBD), Saturday is free.

Starting on Tuesday, Nov. 16, to see all the great work and map out your favorites, simply become a fan of the MCAD Art Sale on Facebookand browse the Art Sale Preview photos. At the moment a gallery wall is finished, we'll take a photo and post it in the Preview.
