Information Events and Group Tours
The Admissions Office regularly hosts events through which you can get to know the College and its educational programs and facilities. Please check our admissions events page for listings.
If you have a class or other group that would like a tour, please refer to the contact information above to schedule a visit.
Parking and Directions
MCAD is located at 2501 Stevens Avenue, just south of downtown Minneapolis, next to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Children's Theatre Company. The Admissions Office is located on campus in the Morrison Building.
Short-term visitors may park in front of the Main Building, where the MCAD Gallery is located, to the north of campus. Those with confirmed appointments may use the reserved parking spaces in the gated lot off of 26th Street.
Special Rates at the Local Hotels
The Millennium Hotel has partnered with MCAD to provide discounted rates to parents or any visitors to MCAD. The discount is 15% off the best available rate (Maximum: $119.00, Superior / $139.00 Club Level). Access for Persons with Disabilities
All classrooms in the Main Building and some in the Morrison Building are accessible. Every attempt will be made to accommodate those students with disabilities. Reserved parking is available in the driveway near the front entrance of the Main Building. The Art Cellar, Library, and Computer Store are accessible via an outside ramp.
