MCAD offers three degree programs—and a wide range of majors and specializations—to help you achieve your goals. And because we're a small school that encourages students to cross disciplines, there's a lot of interaction among the students pursuing each of the degrees—which makes you an even stronger artist or designer, no matter what path you pick.
Offering a lot of different paths for you to explore, the BFA program allows you to choose from 13 different majors in the areas of fine art, design, and media. Two-thirds of the classes are studio-based; the other third are in liberal arts—giving you both the knowledge and skills to succeed.
