The Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) has been creating art on the cutting edge for nearly 125 years. MCAD’s faculty, comprised exclusively of working artists and designers, is renowned for its ingenuity and expertise.

Recognized nationally and internationally for its innovative approaches, MCAD's Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program offers majors in Advertising, Animation, Comic Art, Drawing/Painting, Filmmaking, Fine Arts Studio, Furniture Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography, Print Paper Book, Sculpture, and Web + Multimedia Environments.

The College's trailblazing Bachelor of Science degree program prepares students for the creative business world with four unique specializations to develop skills in communication, management, and the visual arts. MCAD's intensive, mentor-based Master of Fine Arts degree program is fashioned on the European model of advanced study and is regularly featured on U.S. News & World Report's annual Top 50 list.

Located in the Whittier neighborhood of south Minneapolis—adjacent to two cultural gems of the Twin Cities, The Children's Theatre Company and The Minneapolis Institute of Arts—MCAD offers students an ideal mix of support and challenge.
